Hallo zusammen!
ICh versuch gerade den DVB-T USB stick cinergy XS von terratec zu installieren.
Hab vor einiger Zeit das gleich schon für einen anderen Stick (afatech af9015) versucht (der leider gerade einen neuen, noch nicht unterstützten chipsatz hat), und damals den alternativen entwicklungszweig von v4l-dvb installiert so wie
hier erklärt.
Als ich dann den cinergy XS einsteckte, hieß es bei
dmesg , xc3028-v27.fw fehle. Hab ich wieder recherchiert, und wurde
wieder bei ubuntuusers fündig, habe also die firmware nachinstelliert. Jetzt ist die Ausgabe von dmesg:

Was muss ich tun um es zum Laufen zu kriegen? Konkret also folgende Fragen:
1. Wieso wird das Gerät als video0 (also analoges device) erkannt statt als dvb-t adapter?
2. Habe ich die richtige v4l-dvb version installiert?
3. Was bedeutet der inkorrekte readback of firmware version,habe ich die falsche firmware installiert??
Ich benutze kubuntu 9.10
