Ein professionelles System im produktiven Einsatz muss einfach nur funktionieren.
Die neuesten Treiber, Programme, usw. sind in einer solchen Umgebung
unerwünscht, da dies nur unnötige Fehlerquellen sind und auf diese
Weise kein Geld zu verdienen ist.

Die nvidia-Treiber sind die bisher schnellsten für linux. Die dürften eine Menge Karten an linux-user (wie mich) verkauft haben.Zitat
Aber das Hauptproblem wird so lange bestehen bleiben, so lange sich die
Firma Nvidia nicht vernünftig mit Linux auseinandersetzt - Open Source.
Beim nächsten Mal will ich es wieder mit AMD - ATI versuchen, wenn sich
daran nichts ändert. Damit habe ich bisher meine besten Erfahrungen
gemacht.
