Ubuntu 7.10 nach anmeldung weisser Bildschirm

HiHo liebe Community,
Ich habe nach dem anmelden von Ubuntu 7.10 einen permanenten weissen bildschirm,

NVIDIA Treiber sind installiert und lieffen auch schon vorher.
Kann mich daran erinnern zuletzt Compitz installier zu haben?


Hat jemand eine Idee woran das liegen koennte?
Bin schon sehr angewiesen auf meinen PC...

Ubuntu 7.10


Hoffe ihr koennt mir schnell helfen, wenn m;glich mit erkl'rung da ich mich nicht so gut auskenne...

Guten Tag,

zeige mal deine xorg.conf die du mit:

sudo nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf


öffnen kannst und mit:

sudo cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf /media/backup-medium


auf ein anderes Medium kopieren kannst.
Dann können wir ersteinmal sehen welche Treiber bei dir momentan
eingestellt ist.
