Nicht verwirren lassen, es läuft aktuell der 2.6.22 kernel von gusty, ich befinde mich gerade nur im pfad meines 2.6.23.
ok, hier noch was neues.
cd /lib/modules/2.6.22-14-generic/ubuntu/wireless/ipw3945
sudo insmod ./ipw3945.ko
das geht, und ich seh dazu auch was in dmesg, ein eth1 oder wlan0 hab ich leider trotzallem nicht
