Kein Sound?Alsamixer+PulseAudio nicht ausführbar!

Hallo liebe leute,
ich bin neu im Forum und sage erst einmal
Hallo

Folgendes Problem,und zwar habe ch nun Ubuntu(Karmic Koala) und möchte gerne Musik auf youtube hören. Jedoch kann ich nix hören. Die "Audioeigenschaften" sind bei mir aufgedreht bzw hab ich auch schon versucht es halbwegs zu regeln.

Wenn ich im Terminal "Alsamixer" ausführen möchte kommt nur

1	alsamixer: function snd_mixer_load failed: Invalid argument

auch bei PulseAudio kommt eine Fehlermeldung und zwar

Ps: Ich entschuldige mich jetzt schonmal dafür das ich nicht so gut mich hiermit auskenne,aber übung macht den Meister
