hi

ich habe mir wine für Photoshop per Synaptic runtergeladen


ich hatte es erstmal ohne configdatei probiert(siehe das howto hier->)

geht aber nicht/ aber im .wine ordner finde ich keine config datei....

was soll ich tun?

Hi x3aro,

wenn Du im Terminal wincfg eingibst, kannst Du wine konfigurieren. Einen guten Unterbau für die Nutzung weiterer Programme schaffst Du Dir, indem Du DCOM98, InternetExplorer6 sowie einige Truetype-Schriftarten installierst.

Welche Photoshop-Version willst Du denn installieren?

Muss es denn unbedingt Photoshop sein? Mit Gimp hast Du doch schon einen nahezu perfekten Ersatz!!!

auserdem bin ich PS gewohnt

ich habe mir extra die trial vom PS cs2 (die neuste) runtergeladen

wenn ich sie jetzt installieren möchte, sagt er, servicepack 1 und kein windowssystem

Hi x3aro,
versuche zunächst DCOM98, Truetype Corefiles, IE6 zu installieren. Dann kannst Du Dich an die Installation weiterer Applikationen begeben. Wahrscheinlich wird Photoshop CS2 so oder so nicht vernünftig laufen, weil es Deinen Angaben nach, bereits SP1 von XP voraussetzt.
Ich würde es zunächst mit einer älteren Version (beispielsweise Photoshop 7) versuchen.
Die Application Database auf winehq.com gibt Dir hierzu einige Tipps.

Hm, hab mir vor 3 Tagen auch mal Wine installiert.

Hab da irgendwoher eine Config zum download angeboten bekommen und ....hm...ich weiß nicht mehr wohin kopiert.
Von daher fand ich den Hinweis mit wincfg oder winecfg sehr interessant. Leider klappt bei mir keiner der Befehle.

wine wincfg, wine winecfg, wincfg, winecfg, wine cfg ?(

Hauptsächlich geht es mir eigentlich um WarCraft III.

Hab da mal die installation gestartet. Bekomme aber immer die Info, dass es sich um Win95 handelt und da will sich Warcraft nicht installieren.

Hab dieses HowTo gefunden. Leider is das für mich etwas zu knapp.
Daher:
- Worum geht es bei den gefixten Exe-Dateien. Soll WarCraft einfach ohne CD laufen, oder steckt da noch was anderes dahinter?
- Kopiere ich mein WarCraft-Verzeichnis von Windows rüber, oder installier ich das richtig mit Wine (wird mir im HowTo nicht klar (Copy the fixed .exes to the Warcraft directory.) woher kommt das Verzeichnis???)?

hm, ich hätte da noch 3 bis 6 andere Fragen, aber dann wird der Post zu lang und das liest dann keiner ;-)

Hi,

alla am Schluss mal meine ~/.wine/config

mit der könnt ihr es mal versuchen. Wenn ihr eine gültige windows 98 lizenz habt, dann solltet ihr von der windows CD die dlls commctrl.dll und commdlg.dll ins wineverzeichnis(und dann windows/system) kopieren.

danach sollte man DCOM98 installieren, und dann den InternetExplorer, da dieser viele benötigte und neue dlls mitbringt. Aber vorsicht, den IE darf nur installieren wer eine gültige WindowsLizenz hat.

wer eine ander windowsversion als 98 brauch, trägt diese einfach in die config date ein, aber achtung, windows 98 ist am vollständigsten implementiert, mit allem anderen gibts meist noch mehr probleme.

@Muli: habe keine ahnung von warcraft, aber normalerweise werden alle dinge unter wine nochmal installiert und nicht von deiner windowsplatte kopiert,

auf jeden fall hab ichs/ ich scheis auf die manuellen installs

ich hab mal wieder synaptics genommen

geht einmandfrei

leider kann ich nur photoshop 6 installen, aber das is im endeffekt genauso wie die neuen

Cedega kostet doch Geld, oder?

Hab schon für Warcraft gezahlt und bevor ich für WarCraft unter Linux zahle, boote ich halt mein Windoof.

Mal sehen. Im Moment versuche ich noch die Graka 3D-technisch zum beschleunigen zu bringen, dann sehe ich mit Wine weiter.

Ach blöde Frage, aber ich hab gerade bei den ATI-Teriberproblemen meine xorg.conf gepostest (auch sehr lang).

Wie läuft das mit einer Codebox??? Sehe hier im Editor gerade nix gerartiges. Oder is das extern.
