AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ nur ein Kern bzw. bootet nicht

Hallo zusammen,

bei meinem System Acer Aspire M5100 - KM77 wird nur ein Kernel genutzt. Hab schon im Netz und hier im Forum gesucht aber bisher nichts passendes gefunden. Bin für jede Hilfe dankbar.

Ich verwende Ubuntu 8.04.1 mit dem Kernel 2.6.24-19 generic da beim Kernel 2.6.24-21 generic der Rechner gar nicht mehr bootet. Auf Ubuntu 8.10 will ich eigentlich nicht umsteigen da die nvidia Treiber noch nicht unterstützt werden.

Bei Intrepid werden beide Kerne erkannt. Ich habe jetzt die proprietären nvidia Treiber installiert, damit funktioniert auch die 3D Unterstützung wieder.
